"Pretty easy to use overall"

I liked that they offered both card and bank transfer, and both went through without any real hassle. The only small thing is that the payment page could maybe be a bit clearer in places, but everything worked fine for me in the end

"Support was really slow to get back to me"
I had an issue with my account and reached out to support, but it took a few days to hear back. And it’s not even about getting an instant reply — I get that things can take time. It was more that when they did respond, the replies were short and didn’t really help much. Overall, it just ended up being a frustrating experience.

"Trading screen feels a bit messy"
Kraken works fine overall, but the trading screen feels cluttered to me. There are so many menus and charts packed in that it gets confusing fast. I actually placed an order wrong once because I wasn’t sure what I was clicking. To make it more confusing, the email I got seemed to say one thing, while the app showed something else, so I had to double-check everything

"Fees felt unclear and annoying"
I gave Kraken a try, but I kept feeling like I wasn’t seeing the full cost until I was already far into the process. The fees seemed to show up differently depending on where I clicked, which made it harder than it needed to be to understand what I was actually paying.

Maybe more experienced traders are used to this kind of setup, but for me it felt confusing and not very upfront. Personally, I wouldn’t make it my first choice unless they made the fee details easier to follow.

"Solid coin selection, but I’d leave if that changed"
I mostly use Kraken because the coin selection is strong. They’ve got the obvious ones like BTC and ETH, but also a decent mix of smaller coins that I don’t always see on other platforms.
Searching around and comparing options is straightforward too. Sure, they don’t have every token out there, but for what I need, it’s been more than enough. I’m happy with it overall, though if they ever started cutting back on the range, I’d probably start looking elsewhere

I’m not moving huge amounts of money around, so even small fees can start to annoy me quickly. I’ll admit, Kraken has been better than I expected on that front, especially compared to a few other apps I tried where every trade felt like it chipped away at my balance.

The maker/taker fees are easy enough to understand, and I don’t feel like I’m getting quietly drained every time I place an order. Withdrawal fees still depend on what you’re doing, so it’s not perfect, but for regular trading costs, I can’t really complain.

I've been using Kraken mostly for BTC and ETH, and so far it's been smooth. My orders usually fill fast, even when the market is moving around a lot, and the spreads seem fair enough that I don’t feel like I’m getting a bad deal. i don’t have much to complain about... I mean, for what I use it for, it just works.

"Fiat transfers work, but the waiting is stressful"
Kraken has been fine for me overall, and I haven’t had major issues using the platform. The annoying part is definitely the fiat transfers, because they’re not as quick as I expected.

My deposits do usually show up, but sometimes it takes a day or two, and the tracking doesn’t really make it clear what’s going on. That waiting around adds unexpected stress, especially when I’m trying to move money for a specific reason.
It’s not a terrible experience, but it’s not great either. I’d give it 3 stars because it gets the job done in the end, but the bank transfer side really needs to be faster and less nerve-racking.

"Advanced trading tools were kind of a headache"
I tried using the advanced trading tools, but it was frustrating haha. The charts kept freezing on me, and placing orders felt more confusing than it needed to be. I can see how it might be fine for experienced traders, but for me, it just wasn’t a good experience.

"Wish the policies were easier to find"
Kraken has been fine to use overall, but the policy stuff feels kind of all over the place and I had to click around way more than I expected just to figure out things like fees and account limits, which was a little frustrating because the info is there but it doesn’t feel as clear or straightforward as it should.

I’ve been using the Kraken API for my little trading bot, most of the time it’s been solid. I’ll be feeling confident when everything runs smoothly, then suddenly get a bit annoyed when responses slow down during heavy market action. Thankfully, it hasn’t been anything disastrous, and once things settle, I’m back to feeling like it’s dependable again. The docs took me a little while to warm up to, but they’re usable once you get the hang of them. It’s not perfect, but compared to a few other exchanges I’ve tried, I do trust it more.

I’ve been using Kraken mostly to stake ETH and a few other coins, and the setup was easy enough. I do like that the rewards come in without me having to babysit everything, so that part has been convenient.

But the unstaking speed really annoys me sometimes, and I don’t think that’s on me. Kraken needs to be clearer about how long things can take, because sitting around waiting longer than expected is frustrating. The reward info could also be laid out better so I’m not digging around trying to compare options before choosing.

Overall, it still works and I do trust Kraken more than a lot of other exchanges, but they deserve the blame for making parts of the staking experience feel slower and more confusing than they need to be. It’s decent, just not as smooth as it should be. 4 stars...
